Registration Guidelines - Adi Kailash Parikrama Run 2025 (1st Edition)

Event Organiser: The Adi Kailash Parikrama Run is organised and promoted by the Uttarakhand Tourism Department.

Age Limits

Adherence to age restrictions is mandatory. The Event Organiser may verify participants' age before, during, or after the race.

Acceptance of Entries

• Only one registration per participant is permitted. Duplicate registrations will be rejected. Participants registered in ultra-distance categories may also register for shorter races held later.
• Applicants must submit truthful and complete information; misinformation may result in disqualification.
• By applying, participants agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions Risk & Indemnity Agreement. Guardians must consent on behalf of participants under 18.
• Long-distance category applicants must upload valid finishing certificates as per the Eligibility Criteria.
• All participants (and guardians for minors) must sign the Risk & Indemnity waiver form.
• Political, religious, or racial propaganda is strictly prohibited on race apparel or gear. Violation will result in disqualification.
• Please review the Registration Fee section before registering.

Entries Not Accepted

• Entries with misleading or incorrect information.

Such entries will be cancelled, and fees will not be refunded.

Registration Deadline

All registrations must be completed by Monday, 5th October 2025.

Arrival & Acclimatisation

Participants must arrive early enough to acclimatise to the high-altitude environment for safety and performance.

Cancellation, Changes & Refunds

• Registrations may be cancelled in writing via registered email before 31st May 2025; a processing fee applies.
• Refunds are not entertained post-deadline except for serving defence personnel.
• Failure to participate or collect bibs does not entitle a refund.
• Change of race category is allowed until 15th October 2025 with a processing fee.
• Deferment to next year’s event is permitted until 15th October 2025 upon written application.

Race Bib Collection

• Bibs must be collected in person on scheduled dates.
• Bibs are non-transferable and must be displayed visibly and intact throughout the race.
• Ultra run participants will receive two bibs (front and back) that should be worn properly.
• Failure to comply with bib rules can result in disqualification.

Timing Chips

• All timed races require timing chips to be attached to bibs from start to finish.
• Timing chips are non-transferable.

Code of Conduct

• Respect all officials, volunteers, fellow racers, and local communities.
• Non-compliance or misconduct may lead to disqualification.
• Display of political, religious, or racial messages is forbidden.

Fitness & Safety

Participants should be medically fit. Organisers reserve the right to disallow entrants deemed unfit.

Media Rights

Photos and videos from race day may be used for promotion without additional consent or compensation.

Event Cancellation & Amendments

• In case of cancellation due to force majeure, registrations will roll over to the next edition.
• The Event Organiser may change race details or course; such changes do not entitle refunds.
